Hey, if you think about it, "Soul Meets Body" is pretty Emersonian, too. Or at least the first verse, anyway:

HAHAHA! Death Cab... they're deep man. "Soul Meets Body" Reminds me of an article I just read actually! It's not for any class, but you may like it. It's lengthy, but totally worth it! It is literally about trying to find the seat of human consciousness, if the body were to be separated from the brain but could still function, where would that leave us? the soul? DeleteWhoa! I just finished the article, and about 3/4ths of the way through, when he learned about Hubert, it actually made me physically ill to keep reading. I nearly fainted in the computer center. The idea of having duplicate consciousnesses functioning in separate bodies is somehow nauseating. What a crazy article! Thanks for sharing.
